Our Story
After years of working in community mental health, Kaitlyn recognized a profound need for specialized, Christ-centered care within Northern Kentucky. Driven by a vision to bridge clinical expertise with biblical truth, she founded Christ Centered Counseling to provide a sanctuary for deep healing and spiritual restoration.
Our practice is a dedicated resource for busy, burnt-out families and individuals carrying the heavy burden of life, stress or even spiritual abuse. Whether you are feeling spiritually dry or searching for clarity amidst life’s storms, we welcome you exactly as you are.

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn, I serve as the owner and therapist at Christ Centered Counseling, offering a gentle approach rooted in professional expertise. After attaining my Masters of Social Work from Campbellsville University in 2019, I have dedicated my career to guiding adults through life’s significant challenges. I specialize in providing support for those facing depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Emily is a dedicated counselor committed to walking alongside others as they seek peace and restoration. Emily practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by an LPCC-S. Emily focuses on helping couples and children navigate anxiety and depression with a sincere and professional heart.

Mckenzie Askew,BS, Intern
Mckenzie graduated from Ohio State University with her bachelor’s degree in 2024. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in counseling education through the University of Kentucky. Mckenzie has a passion for working with youth to help them with their personal development through life transitions.

Valencia brings a wealth of clinical experience and a compassionate heart to our team. Valencia serves as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory designation (LPCC-S) and 10 years of experience. She provides a compassionate and supportive space where individuals can rest, reflect, heal and rebuild. Valencia is committed to supporting her clients through using a client-centered approach focusing on helping individuals recognize their strengths, navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
